I Heart Faces (Focusing on Angles)

This shot was taken for my friend Doran's modeling pictures. She has been a model ever since she was about 14 and she really wanted to get back into it. She is my best friend and a fellow single mommy. She did an amazing job and really knew how to work with the camera. This angle isn't too extreme, but I think it is a very flattering angle for her face. Let me know what you think! Happy I Faces Monday!

I Heart Faces (All Bundled Up)

This week's theme at I ♥ Faces is a tribute to the beautiful--and cold--winter weather. I have to admit, I had a hard time with this weeks theme. Here in AZ it's not to super cold, so we don't really get "bundled up" per say.

However, I did find a photo that I think fits this weeks theme. It is a picture (of course) of my Lyla. We were at a dirtbike racing track watching my nephew race his 85 orange KTM dirtbike. Lyla loved it, until she started getting tired. The weather was windy and chilly, so I decided to wrap her up in a nice warm blanket. And if you can believe it, she actually fell asleep! With all the noise and wind she fell asleep! It was the cutest thing EVER!

Senior Pictures (Amanda Isle)

A couple of months ago I had my very first Senior Picture shoot! My friend Amanda, who I knew from Freshman and Sophomore year, hired me to take her Senior portraits, and I gladly accepted. This shoot was really only my second paid photoshoot, so I was still a little nervous that I wasn't going to do a good job.

So on a brisk Sunday morning I drove into Phoenix and met Amanda at a park that I had visited many times durning my childhood, which was actually pretty cool. :) There were a lot of big trees and even a pond which made for a good backdrop for the photos. The shoot went perfectly, and I ended up getting some really good pictures. Overall I think I took over 200 pictures! Haha!

Once I was all finished editing them I burned them onto a CD for her. I was very satisfied, and she was as well. Another shoot with an A+ grade! Haha!
